Rubber hose usage

2023-07-11
Rubber hose is a type of tubular rubber product used for conveying gas, liquid, and mud like substances.

Composition of high-pressure hose:

The rubber hose is composed of an inner rubber layer, an outer rubber layer, and a interlayer, which can be filled with materials such as cotton thread, cord wire, and steel wire.

1. General rubber hose: natural rubber, Styrene-butadiene or Polybutadiene are used as the internal and external rubber layer materials;
2. Oil resistant hose: Neoprene and Nitrile rubber; Acid and alkali resistant
3. High temperature resistant hose: Ethylene propylene rubber, fluororubber or silicone rubber and other products are used.
The inner rubber layer of the hose directly bears the wear and erosion of the conveying medium, and prevents its leakage; The outer adhesive layer protects the interlayer from external damage and erosion;

4. The interlayer is a rubber tube: it has a pressure bearing layer and is a very important part, which bears most of the pressure and weight.
The working pressure of the hose depends on the material and structure of the interlayer, so the quality of the hose is closely related to the interlayer.
The basic process of rubber hose production:
For mixed rubber processing, cord (cord) and canvas processing, rubber tube forming, vulcanization, etc

5. Full rubber hose:
Due to the absence of interlayer, simply use a press to press out the rubber hose;

6. The cloth clamping hose requires the use of a molding machine that wraps the adhesive tape onto the inner adhesive layer
7. When forming the steel wire sandwich hose, it is necessary to wrap the metal spiral wire first and then wrap the inner glue;
8. Special fabric weaving or winding machines are required for weaving and winding rubber hoses;

9. Knitting hoses require the use of a knitting machine, etc
